
JUICE PACKAGING

2020 - 2021
The brief
This project was part of my Master Diploma in Graphic Design qualification. The brief specified: The Marketing Director of Star Markets has asked you to create a design for the packaging for their stock Orange and Apple juice packaging. The packaging should appeal specifically to middle-class women buying juice as a health supplement. The packaging should give an upmarket feel from the current generic euro packaging that exists currently on the shelves.

The solution
I was inspired by vintage, botanical illustrations, which I paired with a delicate neutral and pastel-coloured palette. These illustrations portray natural, healthy and quality ingredients, which is ideal for an upmarket, middle-class consumer. Throughout the design, I have highlighted nutritional information and advice to attract customers looking to buy juice as a health supplement. Zoom in on the packaging nets for more details, such as my custom-made barcode and a side panel featuring a scroll with vintage-inspired anatomical illustrations of orange and apple trees.
